About this Project

Brighton East

Brighton East is an addition to an existing landscape surrounding a beautiful early 1900s Tudor-style home. Enhancements to the hardscape feature new red brick herringbone paths, vintage red brick planters and a raised deck painted to tie in with the house’s trim. The planting scheme includes climbing roses, buxus, hydrangeas, and star jasmine.

The front yard offers an arrangement of low formal plantings, providing unobstructed views of the house, complemented by a sprawling lawn beneath the ancient oak tree. The backyard offers a tranquil retreat away from the busy street with tall, lush greenery and flowering plants for interest.

Brick house with large tree in front yard, surrounded by grass and shrubs, with bench and dark fence in background.

Low formal planting allows unobstructed views of the house, dating back to the early 1900s.
