Thornbury

A backyard garden with a brick pathway, a wooden deck, and a white house with glass-paneled doors. There is a black wooden fence, potted plants, a small table with chairs, and a hanging plant basket.

About this Project

Thornbury

The brief for our Thornbury project was to enhance the existing lawn with outdoor dining areas and native planting, while maintaining a generous play space for young children and encouraging interaction with the garden.

Perimeter planting creates enclosure as the garden matures, while also providing visual interest when viewed from inside the house. Sandstone paving and corten steel edging form the hard elements, complementing the colour palette of flowering plants.

Every season unveils a new tapestry of colour and texture.
